JOB OVERVIEW:
This role offers the flexibility to work from home, set your own schedule, and be your own boss. You will be responsible for selling our products at vendor booth shows and through various other networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote and Sell Products: Actively promote and sell artisanal pickles, jams, salsas, butters, and relishes at markets, events, and through online platforms.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat sales and foster loyalty.
- Inventory and Sales Management: Oversee inventory levels, track sales, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Product Tastings and Demonstrations: Conduct tastings and demonstrations to educate customers about the unique qualities and flavors of the products.
- Brand Visibility and Customer Attraction: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide excellent service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Industry and Competitor Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to ensure competitive offerings.
- Reporting and Feedback: Prepare regular reports and provide feedback to enhance sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Citizenship and Education:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the food industry.
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within the food industry.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding and passion for artisanal foods, including pickles, jams, salsas, butters, and relishes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers and promoting products.
- Basic knowledge of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Customer Engagement:
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting positively with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Sales and Inventory Management:
- Capable of managing inventory, tracking sales, and maintaining accurate records.
- Adaptability:
- Adaptable to different sales environments, including markets, events, and online platforms.
